Tyent UCE-13 PLUS Review (Do NOT Buy Before Reading)

Are the health benefits of drinking alkaline real? The science says yes! Even more than that, new evidence shows that hydrogen-rich or molecular hydrogen water can drastically reduce inflammation in your body. So, if you have GERD, IBS, Crohn’s disease, or other gastrointestinal issues, having a water ionizer like the Tyent UCE-13 Plus can make life much easier.

We’ve reviewed several water ionizers, but Tyent UCE-13 Plus is one of the only under sink water ionizers with hydrogen boost technology. If you’re tired of buying expensive special hydrogen-rich water, then there’s additional bonuses to adding this system to your home–but is it really worth it? We’ll show you our results.

Tyent UCE-13 Plus

So, what did we think of the Tyent UCE-13 Plus Turbo with Xtreme Molecular Hydrogen Boost? It’s super convenient, easy to use, and the water tastes super pure! You can always tell when bottled water or tap water has some copper or strange mineral that causes odors, and even fridge filters can’t get rid of it sometimes.

However, Tyent UCE-13 Plus has multi-stage filtration with 13 electrolysis plates for the ultimate refreshing glass of alkaline water. We were impressed by how easy it was to install under the kitchen sink and instantly have pure, great-tasting alkaline water.

The controls are all touch-based or smartphone based. You can customize the pH by hand or choose one of the programmed buttons. It’s easy to create water with neutral pH, advanced alkaline pH, or even acidic water for cleaning solutions. There are 99 presets, which is probably too much, but there are uses for all kinds of combination pH levels and hydrogen boosts.

There are also a few surprising features with the Tyent UCE-13 Plus, such as the ability to customize your hydrogen levels. This boosts the antioxidants in your purified drinking water. We honestly felt better after drinking a glass.

What We Liked

Every year, we’ve followed the top water purification brands to see what they come out with next. Tyent’s systems have always been some of the best, most innovative products, and that’s because they pay attention to what consumers are worried about.

In today’s world, many regions all over the United States are facing issues with water quality, as well as health problems. Most homes have some kind of water purifier, whether it’s a pitcher or whole house water filtration system.

However, older water purifiers just don’t offer the same benefits as new water filtration and water ionizer devices.

Tyent UCE-13 Plus gets the best of both worlds. Not only does it have multistage filtration with dual filters that go down to .01 micron, but it also has 13 solid mush medical grade titanium plates. These are dipped multiple times in platinum for higher range of pH.

With that said, Tyent does have some of the highest filtration and ionization levels that we’ve seen. You get a range from 1.7 pH to 12.0 pH, and it has a negative ORP level up to -1050. That’s insane for the under counter Tyent water ionizer. It’s just not a common feature on the market.

There’s also so many touch features and programmable settings. You can create hydrogen-rich, alkaline water for your early morning jobs to purified cooking water to boil pasta and rice. It’s extremely satisfying drinking and preparing meals with pure, clean water that is full of antioxidants.

Best of all, the water just tastes and feels better going down. Speaking from experience, drinking alkaline water after a particularly bad Crohn’s outbreak can instantly soothe stomach pain and inflammation. It’s better than anything you can drink after one of these excruciating episodes.

Tyent UCE-13 Plus also comes with a flood prevention sensor in case you leave it running and automatic self-cleaning mode. If anything happens to your system, it’s covered by a warranty.

We also wanted to connect to customer service to see what help we’d receive for installation and other issues with the Tyent UCE-13 Plus. The support is phenomenal and responsive with either phone or chat agents ready to respond.

What We Don’t Like

We were pretty lucky to try out the Tyent UCE-13 Plus system because it’s not exactly budget-friendly. This system is very advanced and should accommodate any household size.

We also found that installing this ionizer can be a little tricky if you don’t have plumbing experience. However, Tyent UCE-13 Plus provides several videos if the instructions aren’t enough. If not installed correctly, you may experience low flow problems or water may not flow at all.

Finally, you may need to drill a hole in your counter or sink for the most convenience. This system is designed to have a second faucet that sits above the counter. Tyent UCE-13 Plus does provide instruction and videos on how to easily use this second faucet or your own faucet with its latest model.

Look For These 3 Features When Comparing Water Ionizers

Before we take a closer look at the Tyent UCE-13 Plus, we wanted to see why these water filters are trending and what these special “hydrogen boost” features actually do for your body. Can drinking a higher pH really benefit your GI tract?

Here are some of the features that we studied in-depth to see how they worked:

High Alkaline Water pH Range

After testing more than a few alkaline ionizers, we’ve found that the best machines offer a greater range of alkalinity. This means that you can dial it up all the way to 10 or 12 pH, which is remarkably high alkalinity, or you can go down to 1 pH, which is highly acidic. There are reasons for creating these extreme pH levels in your water, mostly for cleaning and disinfecting.

Tests show that the average pH of city municipality tap water is around 7 to 7.1 with higher alkalinity in some areas going up to 7.5. However, anything about a 7 pH is more alkaline. We suggest finding a water ionizer like Tyent UCE-13 Plus that can deliver higher alkaline levels up to 12 pH.

One of the best features of a high-quality water ionizer is that you can customize the pH of your water with a press of a button. Tyent UCE-13 Plus has a full, touch LCD screen that lets you create alkaline, filtered water with hydrogen-rich modifications. It’s incredibly easy to use and you can program it with your smartphone.

High Number of Electrolysis Plates

A high-quality water ionizer depends on efficient and precise electrolysis, which can only be delivered with a high amount of platinum titanium plates. Ideally, you want more than 7 plates to produce all the different alkaline levels, but some go farther than this to ensure that your water always has the accurate pH that you select.

With Tyent UCE-13 Plus, we noticed that the 13 stands for the 13 oversized, platinum titanium plates. This indicates that not only can you create water any pH level, but the Tyent water ionizer also has 10-Amp upgraded SMPS for superior antioxidant delivery. This is where it truly benefits your body to have hydrogen-based drinking water.

High Oxidation Reduction Potential

Any decent water ionizer will have a way to change the oxidation reduction potential (ORP). Tyent UCE-13 Plus allows you to press a button to change to negative ORP, which is important for those fighting inflammation and free radicals in their body.

It’s also the reason why alkalizers are so popular for those with chronic illnesses, including cancer. While normal tap water and even bottle water include oxidizing agents because of their positive ORP, you can control the exact pH and ORP with water ionizers like Tyent UCE-13 Plus.

Should You Get a Tyent Water Ionizer?

After testing the Tyent UCE-13 Plus in-house for a few weeks, we can say with 100% certainty that the water is truly healthier and more refreshing than many other water filters on the market. It has exceptional construction and durability, but it’s all about the taste and healthiness of the water. You can expect great-tasting, alkaline water for any of your needs with this system.

5 Benefits Of Purified Alkaline, Hydrogen-Rich Water

We’ve done a lot of research on alkaline ionizers and hydrogen ionizers. The Tyent water ionizer is the first to combine both so sufficiently that we always found the taste exceptional and the health benefits easy to see.

However, many reviews solely focus on the alkaline benefits, but there are also two incredible benefits of drinking hydrogen-rich water regularly.

1. Reduces Inflammatory Responses

If you have any gastrointestinal or chronic illnesses with inflammation, then you know the burning, aching pain inside that just won’t go away. It’s exhausting and painful all at the same time. New studies published on Nature.com reveal that hydrogen-rich water and alkaline water reduce inflammatory responses. The combination reduces oxidative stress and heals inflammation over time.

2. May Help with Cancer

Many cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy swear by alkaline water, and doctors have recommended it to patients for years as it settles the stomach, too. However, research also shows that drinking alkaline water could starve cancer cells, making them less likely to stay in your bloodstream.

3. Better Blood Circulation and Hydration

When drinking alkaline water and hydrogen-rich water, athletes say they feel more energy and get dehydrated less often. This relates to the number of antioxidants. You can create higher antioxidant levels with Tyent water ionizer because of its negative ORP levels. That’s a feature that many other water filter systems are missing.

4. Less Money on Bottled Water

One study found that Americans spend $16 billion on bottled water every year! Holy cow! Even the latest filter water bottles are too much work and not enough benefits as a water ionizer. If you want water like FIJI or Smart Water, then you’ll save money and time by creating your very own alkaline water at home.

5. Stops Acid Reflux

One thing we know for sure is that if you are burping, hiccupping, and dealing with a grumbling, aching stomach from GERD or minor acid reflux, alkaline water can soothe your symptoms without the chalky chemicals of TUMS or other H2 blockers.
